Penguin Patch Holiday Shop – Our annual holiday shop will be held from this week during student's art class.

There are still some openings for volunteers to help students shop. Please sign-up if you would like to volunteer.
**Clearances are required to volunteer during school hours.
Family night will be held on December 13th from 6pm to 8pm. Grab your dinner from Grumpy's Bar-B-Que Roadhouse food truck and wear your favorite pajamas for a holiday movie. Visit the Penguin Patch, concession stand, and winter crafts table.

Phantoms Night Out - Join us for our next Family Night at the Phantoms on Friday, December 20!

Penguin Patch Holiday Shop—Our annual holiday shop will be held from Tuesday, December 10, to Friday, December 13, during students' art classes.

We need parent volunteers to assist with student shopping and wrapping. Please sign-up sheet if you would like to volunteer.
**Clearances are required to volunteer during school hours.
If you can help with setup (after school on Monday)--your children can also help! Write a note to their teacher and meet us in the art room after school!

Camp Invention

Happy Thanksgiving Veterans Memorial Families! The PTO is go grateful for the support you provide for our students! There’s a lot of great info this week – please read through and participate where you are able so we can continue to provide funding for our school trips and programs!

Giving Tree – Please consider donating to our annual Giving Tree. These donations go directly towards purchasing gift cards for those VM families in need of assistance this holiday season. If you have more than one student please visit each child's teacher. If you need assistance with signing up please contact the school office (610) 351-5910.

Please keep in mind that all students will be dismissed at 11:45 AM on all of the conference days. As well as Wednesday, November 27th.

We ask that everyone has signed up by Wednesday, November 14th.

Early Dismissal Bagged Lunches Available: Order HERE

November 25, 26, and 27, 2024 are early dismissal days for Elementary students. Parents may order a bagged lunch for 1, 2, or all 3 days. Bagged lunches will consist of turkey and cheese sandwiches, fruit, vegetable, and beverage and will be charged at their normal rate to students' cafeteria accounts. On the early dismissal day, your child's bagged lunch will be delivered to the child's classroom prior to dismissal time.

Order forms are due by noon on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. You only need to complete a form if you are requesting a lunch.

If you have questions concerning the bagged lunches, please reach out to the food services office at 610-351-5670.

All Farm Bakery orders will be ready for pick up on Wednesday, Nov 10, from 4-6pm in the cafeteria.
Our Skating party is Thursday, Nov 21 from 6-8p (see attached flyer)
1. Cash only accepted at the door.
2. $8 for entry and skate rentals are $3.
Our annual Holiday Shop will be held Dec 10-13 during art class.
1. Please consider volunteering to help students shop!
2. Sign up early, because we can only allow so many parents per class!
This is a great opportunity to meet other parents/guardians and see your children in the school atmosphere.
Our Spiritwear add-ons are available for order.
1. Fill out the linked form, pay and your order will be delivered to your student's classroom.
2. Car/Fridge magnets are $5
3. Jibbitz (crocs charms) are $3
4. Water Bottle stickers are $2

Talent Show---start brainstorming now for our show in February--more details to follow!

Veterans PTO is sponsoring a Holiday Giving Tree to provide holiday assistance to Veterans Elementary families.
1. This year's donations will be used to purchase grocery and retail gift cards, which can be used by the families to purchase holiday meals and gifts!

World Kindness Day 11/13/2024

Join us Wednesday, Nov 13 at 6:30p to meet Dr. Madsen and hear about district updates.
1. Immediately following, the VMES PTO will hold their monthly meeting at 7pm.
