August 19th Transporation in HAC: Please plan to log into Home Access Center (HAC) beginning Monday, August 19 at noon to verify the bus/transportation information we have scheduled for your student(s).  Contact the school office immediately if this is incorrect.

August 21st - Kindergarten Orientation 9:00 - 10:15 AM: Students will ride the bus to school or be dropped off by parents if they are parent transport.  Transportation information will be available in HAC on August 19th at noon. Parents should arrive at school by 9:00 AM for new student orientation. Parents will be reunited with their children after the New Student Orientation. Parents will be responsible for taking their children home. NO PM bus transportation.

August 21st - New Student Orientation 9:00 - 10:15 AM: For all students and families that never attended Veterans Memorial before.

August 21st - 10:30 - 11:30 Sneak Peek: For all students & families that have attended Veterans Memorial before. Take a self-guided tour to find your new classroom and greet the Veterans Memorial Staff.

๐Ÿšจ Yearbooks have arrived!  If you ordered and paid for a yearbook, they will be sent home with students this week. ๐Ÿ“ฆ If you ordered with direct ship, they will be shipped right to your home.

 

๐Ÿซฃ Didn’t get a chance to order a yearbook? No fear! We have a limited amount of extras! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธโžก๏ธ They are first come, first serve so do not delay if you would like one.

Early Dismissal Bagged Lunches (Friday, May 17, 2024)

Parent information:

May 17th, 2024 is an early dismissal day for Elementary students. Parents may order a bagged lunch.  

Bagged lunches will consist of a turkey and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread, a bag of carrots and ranch dressing, an applesauce cup, and an 8 oz water and will be charged at their normal rate to students' cafeteria accounts. On the early dismissal day, your child's bagged lunch will be delivered to the child's classroom prior to dismissal time.

Order forms are due by noon on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024.   You only need to complete a form if you are requesting a lunch.

If you have questions concerning the bagged lunches, please reach out to the food services office at 610-351-5670.


The Parkland Community Advisory Council will hold its May meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Parkland Administration Center, located at 1210 Springhouse Road. These monthly meetings are open to the public. This is the last meeting of the 2023-2024 school year and the CAC will be discussing the possible monthly presentations for the 2024-2025 school year, and will also be holding their board elections.
