Handle with Care

Dear Parents and Families,

I wanted to share with you about our "Handle with Care" system of support in place here at Veterans Memorial. If your child or family is experiencing difficulties at home that may impact your child's school day, please know there is  support for them here at Veterans. I understand that you might not always be able to share details and that's okay. If your child is coming to school after a difficult night, morning or weekend, or something impactful is affecting your child/family, feel free to reach out to me with the message 'Handle with Care.' Nothing else needs to be asked or said. This will let us know that your child may need some extra time, patience, help, or support throughout their day to help them SOAR.

Should you have any questions or you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Your School Counselor,

Todd Beidleman
